Dear Potential Farmer Members:

We bring you greetings from the Mid-South Progressive Agricultural Group of Holly Springs, Mississippi. We are a new community-based organization created to meet the needs of at-risk farmers who otherwise would not have a financial means to tap into the vast resources of local, state and federal governmental funding. This progressive organization will represent all farmers in the mid-south, especially the at-risk groups. We will strive to be the community-based organization that thinks out of the box; thus, incorporating innovative ideas to promote and develop farmers that have been stagnated for decades. We stand on the theory of each-one-will-teach-one farming.

Our motto is “Progressive Farmers Striving To Make A Difference In the Mid-South through Diversified Cooperative Actions”

Our main goal is to be the voice and bridge for farmers that have been overlooked in the past by using a cooperative effort to sustain at-risk farmers. Our greatest concern is to aid African-American and other minority farmers losing their family farms.

Some of the benefits of joining this organization are effective training in farm management, educational and financial seminars, farm assistance, grant application assistance, financial report assistance, innovative agri-tourism ideas, strategic fundraising, and many more community plans to move at-risk farmers to financial stability for the future.

We encourage any at-risk farmer to be a part of this progressive group who will strategically move in a systematic fashion to better the at-risk and underserved farmer’s lives in the mid-south.
